I’m a Cinematographer and Visual storyteller based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I am happily married to my best friend and business partner Amber. I’m originally from Uganda and Amber is a proud Iowan. We met on a safari and fell in love over FaceTime and late night calls whilst living 8000 miles apart.

Amber and I both share a deep love for travel, intrigue and adventure. We are dreamers, doers, believers and try to find the good in all things. When I’m not running around with a camera, I am either watching a basketball game or spending some quality time with wifey and helping support her wild obsession with flowers and gardening.

One of my passions in life is to capture experiences and tell stories.  I believe God has given each of us unique gifts to serve others – and for me, that gift is storytelling through film. That is the reason why I started WhitePeak Films. I wanted to create a brand that would be able to capture emotions and express beautiful stories that can touch and impact lives.

With my background in Documentary Filmmaking, I believe that stories are the direct paths to our imaginations, emotions and realities. For me, filmmaking is not just about visuals – it’s about connection. If only we slowed down for a bit, looked around and tried to notice the beauty that surrounds us from a different perspective, we would definitely go a long way in making our world a better place.

My cinematography style roots from my journey and experiences through life. That’s why I always try to implement an intentional, authentic and personal approach to video production.
